When it Comes to Titles and CPUs, The Choice is Tough!
When designing your custom built PC, one thing can not be overstated. The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is probably the most important piece when designing your custom gaming computer. In this case, brain is better than brawn.
That is why one could consider the Intel i9 9900K. As we have mentioned before in our 9700K CPU post, please make sure when browsing for the perfect custom PC, you get one that supports an Intel Processor and not an AMD CPU.
This CPU has 8 cores and up to 16 threads. That is double the 9700K. A base frequency of 3.60 GHz and a max turbo frequency of 5.00 GHz. Not including the ability to overclock, if that’s something you’re into. Giving it a little bit more power than the 9700K as well. It also has 16 MB Intel Smart Cache and a bus speed of 8 GT/s. Making it great for any desktop PC whether it’s a gaming PC or a workstation.
Making it ideal for any Intel gaming PC and it only costs around $450, that’s about $50 less than the lead AMD processors. The 9900K is also capable of supporting 4k at 60Hz. Paired with a Geforce RTX 2080Ti graphics card would make this a CPU GPU knockout.
So all in all, the 9900K may be only a smidgen better than the 9700K, but when you’re looking to build a gaming PC online on a PC building website like pigeoncorp.org or any other custom computer builder platform. Sometimes it’s okay to spend a little extra on a desktop computer.
